Hi, my name is Adam Zakaria. I am a current dermatology residency at UCSF. I graduated from the UCSF School of Medicine with both an MD and Master’s in Clinical Research. Mentoring and helping others has been a passion of mine since my tutoring days in college. Throughout the past decade, I have successfully navigated the education and application system to gain admission to my 1st choice for both medical school and residency, and have also mentored others to help them to achieve their dreams.
As a member of the selection committee and an interviewer at my medical school, I have seen a wide array of applicants and have gained first-hand experience as to what differentiates an average application from a stellar one. Through coaching, providing editing services on personal statements and applications, and conducting mock interviews, I have helped multiple individuals successfully gain entry into medical schools across the University of California system as well as other top-tier schools such as NYU and Washington University SOM.
